NASCAR at Richmond: Odds, key stats, bets to consider for second playoff race

Brad Keselowski made his third consecutive win Sunday in the opening playoff race in Las Vegas Motor Speedway, but a fourth consecutive win seems unlikely as NASCAR heads to Richmond’s short track for Saturday night’s Federated Auto Parts 400.

Richmond is a flat, 3/4-mile track that is quite similar to New Hampshire’s and Phoenix’s flat monitors. Drivers who have had success have been contenders in Richmond.

Phoenix and New Hampshire was visited by NASCAR once each earlier. In the summer, Kevin Harvick took the checkers, but Kyle Busch led the most laps. Harvick also won New Hampshire, but it was Kurt Busch leading the most laps.

Keselowski completed 15th and 32nd at Phoenix and New Hampshire this season, but he’s finished 11th or better in the last six races in Richmond. A top-10 appears likely for the No. 2 team, but there are drivers more fit for its short-track racing on Saturday.
